Bryn Tanat has teamed up with a local sporting and outdoor pursuits company, Haimwood Sporting, to offer a range of activities for our guests which include archery and target shooting, both of which take place in Bryn Tanats grounds.

An Archery range is set up at Bryn Tanat on the riverside lawn and under expert supervision and instruction guests are invited to try their hand at this ancient sport.

Using compound bows, crossbows and longbows you are given a wonderful opportunity to test their eye with this skill that dates back to the dawn of civilisation.

The sport of target shooting includes the use of air rifles and pistols, all require concentration, self-discipline and great self-control.

Indeed any vigorous mental or physical activity, even something as simple as cutting the lawn before shooting , often destroys fine accuracy!
