Midwinter Yoga & Meditation Retreat Friday 24 - Sunday 26 November 2017 

Join British Wheel of Yoga teachers Ceri Evans and Elle Hewitt for a wonderful Midwinter weekend of yoga and meditation.

Cocoon yourself in the luxurious 5 star surroundings of Bryn Tanat Hall for a weekend of yoga and meditation. Think crackling log fires and comfy, cosy corners for curling up with a book. Daily yoga, meditation and pranayama (breath work), together with the hydrotherapy tub, infrared sauna and fitness suite ensure that you will leave the weekend feeling relaxed, rejuvenated and truly pampered.   You may also like to book an Aromatherapy Associates massage or body treatment with our on-site therapist Kirsty Martin during your stay. The perfect way to approach the winter months and forthcoming festive season in tip top condition. 

Delicious, indulgent food is provided and it is healthy too! The food served on the retreat will be prepared by our Chef, Beth Patrick and will leave you with a feeling of well-being. Seasonal produce and locally sourced ingredients are used in all our dishes. 

Each guest will have their own private bedroom, individually designed with relaxation and indulgence a priority - there are fluffy bathrobes, 400-count Egyptian cotton bed linen and Aromatherapy Associates toiletries.

Included - 5 star luxury accommodation, meals, beverages (herbal teas and water), all program activities, spa and fitness facilities (massage and body treatments optional extras).

6.00pm    Arrival

7.00pm    Dinner followed by welcome & introduction

9.00pm    Candlelit meditation, an introduction to meditation within the 8 Limbs of Yoga tradition

Saturday 25 November 2017

8.00am    Morning sun salutation yoga flow and warming winter pranayama

A progressive sequence of sun salutations to open and warm the body, including twists and gentle heart opening backbends to encourage detox and cleanse.  The session ends Kapalabhati- a warming, cleansing pranayama practice.

9.30am    Breakfast

10.30am  Kitchen workshop followed by free time (use the facilities, walk, treat yourself to a spa treatment)

1.00pm    Lunch

2.30pm    Free time (use the facilities, walk, treat yourself to a spa treatment)

4.00pm    Fire Element Yoga

A combination of heat building vinyasa yoga and postures that help to create stability and strength in the core and upper body. 

7.00pm    Dinner

9.00pm    Restorative blanket yoga and body scan meditation.  

A sequence of gently reclined yoga postures followed by a calming body scan meditation.

Sunday 26 November 2017 

8.00am     Rise and shine yoga.  

A mood busting yoga sequence designed to leave you feeling revitatlised and ready to start the day. 

9.30am     Breakfast (followed by farewell and roundup) 

11.00am   Departure
