Staying here, you have all the magic and romance of living in a lodge by a river amid parkland with stunning views without having to forgo 21st century comforts. There are modern bathrooms, a Charnwood wood-burner, fitted kitchen, TV with Freeview, WIFI and DVD player. What’s more, the lodge is sustainable, cedar, topped with a sedum roof and has its own very gorgeous sunken hot tub on a deck overlooking the river Tanat, Breidden Hills and the Meifod valley. And, if you don’t feel like cooking our chef will cook for you.
The lodge is elevated overlooking 5 acres of parkland at Bryn Tanat Hall near enough if you are with a party in the Hall and secluded to enjoy complete privacy. The decor and fittings have been carefully chosen to preserve the spirit of the setting and contemporary construction – a glass-fronted wood burner for gazing at flames, oak artisan beds, underfloor heating and designer furniture with clean contemporary lines. There is also a fully fitted kitchen, complete with American style fridge freezer. The lodge will sleep 8 people in 4 en-suite bedrooms, but the atmosphere within is intimate and hygge enough for romantic breaks for couples. If you do fancy fishing – the river Tanat is slow flowing for fly fishing and for a small extra charge you can hire the Weber BBQ.
The Lodge is the perfect destination for an intimate group of up to 8 people for a secluded gathering or getaway. Equally the lodge can be booked with the Hall to extend the accommodation for a party of up to 36 people, ideal for a wedding or business event.
