Spa Etiquette

At Bryn Tanat Wellness our ethos is entered around self care and wellbeing, we request that all guests use silent mode on mobile phone and refrain from taking calls, filming and photography is not permitted in the changing area of the suite.  Guests are not permitted to play loud music in the Spa area.  Smoking and the use of electronic smoking devices are not permitted within any of the indoor or outdoor spa areas.

It’s nice to catch up with friends but we do ask that when you are enjoying the Wellness Suite  and spa area that you keep your voice to a whisper and refrain from excessive noisy behaviour.


In line with our Covid Flexible Payment Policy a 10% deposit is required at the time of booking with the remaining balance payable 7 days prior to your visit.

Medical Conditions

Some of the treatments that we offer are not suitable for guests with certain medical ailments and conditions. Therefore we ask that you draw our attention to this prior to your arrival in the spa. We do offer specially designed treatments for guests living with or recovering from cancer and other serious conditions. Please allow the team to guide you in selecting which treatments are most suitable for you.

Arrival Time

We recommend that you arrive at Bryn Tanat Wellness at least 10 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment to allow sufficient time to check-in and complete your pre-treatment or Spa Experience consultation.

A late arrival may mean that the scheduled time is reduced or unable to be honoured. The cancellation policy will still apply.

Age Restriction

The Bryn Tanat Wellness Spa and Fitness Suite is an adult space with a minimum age of 16 years. Please ensure that all your guests are fully aware of this to avoid disappointment and ID may be requested as proof of age.

*Booking an underage guest may result in a cancellation fee being charged.

Food & Alcohol

Food and alcohol is strictly not permitted in the Wellness Suite.  We request that you show full consideration towards risks as well as your fellow guests and staff and refrain from excessive, noisy or disruptive behaviour. We reserve the right to refuse entry and access to facilities.


For pregnant guests the use of the infra-red sauna and hydrotherapy tub is not advised.  Treatments are adapted to suit individual needs after 14 weeks.  No treatments will be given during the first trimester of pregnancy.


The wearing of robes is limited to the spa and spa courtyard garden. They must be placed in the housekeeping basket at the end of your spa visit and must not be removed from the spa area.

Lost Property

All lost property found on the premises should be handed in at Spa Reception. Items will be stored for 1 month. If they are not collected within this time they will be donated to local charities. Liquids, under garments and hair brushes are kept for 24 hours only. Please be advised all valuables are left at their owner’s risk and Bryn Tanat Wellness will not be held responsible for any losses or damage.

Dietary Requirements

We are more than happy to plan and cater for dietary requirements, please advise at the time of booking.

Additional Information

We recommend that you leave valuables or jewellery in your accommodation or at home, as jewellery should not be worn during thermal bathing.

Bryn Tanat Wellness accepts no responsibility for the loss or damage of any valuables or jewellery.

We recommend that you book any additional treatments or Spa experiences in advance of your visit to avoid disappointment.

We reserve the right to change Spa treatments and appointment times when required.
